HAPPY EASTER!

Easter was so fun this year. Sage and I went to a easter egg hunt the saturday before and did great! She put a few eggs in her bucket and said she was all done, but once I showed her what was inside the eggs she got so excited and ran out for more.

I love this picture of Sage at the farm. We have never paid for a ride on this cow train but every time she sees it she runs to just sit in it. She could go just for this and nothing else.

Jonah and Sage at Fischer's baseball game. These two are so cute together.

Sage and Carson watching the popcorn pop!

We ended April with a double ear infection. Poor girl! She just asked to be wrapped up in her star blanket. Being sick is no fun but I sure love all the cuddles.

March 2018

At the beginning of this month I bought a stool for the bathroom. Sage thinks its a pretty awesome place to hang out. Its fun to peak in and see what she is doing in there or hearing her talk to herself as she sits on the stool.

Sage has such a big imagination and I love seeing it grow. She is so good at playing by herself, sometimes I will try and join in on the fun but she quickly tells me "No Mama".

I walked in her room one night to find her having a tea party with her Winnie the pooh friends.

Look at this sassy face! Lately she wants to wear her swim suit in the tub. She gets so mad at me if I don't let her.

As we were walking Target one day, Sage randomly shouted "Dinosaur Backpack!" She loves dinosaurs right now and I have been wanting to get her a backpack for her church bag.

LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL SHE IS!!

Matt had spring break this month and I thought it would be fun to head down to Saint George for a few days. It was so fun being with each other. We did a lot of hiking in Snow Canyon. Sage hated the feel of the sand on her feet, but she loved the hiking pack.

Sage was a champ in the car! I was so proud of her. She slept, ate snacks, sang songs, and watched movies. But most importantly she didn't have any accidents!

She always had a great view for her potty breaks! Haha!

I was so worried about how she would do squatting, but once she saw Matt pee on the rocks she had to get in on the action! I think she was more proud of herself squatting then going on the potty for the first time. She was talking about peeing on the rocks for the rest of the day.

Sage had a blast in the pack! Matt not so much! She would either be tickling Matt's neck, trying to take his hat off, or singing her heart out! She knows so many songs but her newest one is the ABC's so we were listening to it on repeat as we hiked.

One of the mornings Matt wanted to try out a frisbee golf course, so Sage and I walked along and kept him company. Sage at times wanted to take a turn.

All this playing and no napping is exhausting!

This month I turned 26 but it wasn't much of a birthday. I was really sick with some flu bug. It broke my heart to hear Sage crying at my door saying "Mama! Where are you Mama?" Ever since I recovered she has been so clingy. Always wanting me to hold her or snuggle her. She tells me probably 20 times a day "I love you so much Mama!"

While getting Sage ready for bed one night, she said.
"Me Happy! You happy Mama?"
I can't even express how much happiness this girl brings to my life! My Journey with infertility is constantly testing me but Sage reminds me everyday why I keep going and why I keep trying!
I love you baby girl!

February 2018

February kinda started out a little ruff for me, but Sage's sweet spirit turned thing around really quick for me. Which is pretty normal...Sage always adds such a positive light on life.

I was having kinda a hard week due to being late on my period, yet getting a negative pregnancy test.  This month I was super hopeful that this was going to be the month that worked, so I took it really hard. The following morning Sage and I walked out of the house kinda in a hurry to get to work. Sage pointed up at the sky (which was so pretty) and said
"Heaven"
I was shocked! I have no idea how she knew that word. I asked her what she said, and again she pointed up at the sky and said
"Heaven"
I stopped and looked up at the sky with her and then I asked Sage "Who is up in heaven?" She looked right at me and with out any thought she replied
"Baby Sister!"
Again I was shocked! Whenever we talk to Sage about a sibling we always talk about a baby brother. My eyes weld up with tears, gave her a big kiss and went about my day. I know this little conversation could of been just a random thing but it brought me so much comfort and a sense of peace that one day we will add another little one to our family.

FEBRUARY 15TH
Matt turned the big 3 0 this year. He has accomplished a lot in his 20's! He returned home from his mission in Spain, he got married, he got into the architecture program, he became a daddy, and he will be graduating with his masters this May. Sage and I are so lucky to have him in our lives. He has been such a great partner to me and an amazing dad to Sage. He adds so much laughter to our home. We sure love him!

Matt walked out to find this on our door step. His sister Megan knows him very well. Dr. Pepper is the way to his heart.

Sage was my little helper when making Matt's cake. She did a really great job cleaning the beaters.

It finally snowed! We got all bundled up and played in the snow. Sage is her Mama's girl! Five to ten minutes after we got out there she said "All done! Bye snow!"

The day after a huge snow storm I went horse back riding with my two sisters, Anne and Jayne. We had so much fun...even though my horse was so slow! We had a lot of laughs.

Sage likes to do whatever her Mama and Daddy do. One day she saw Matt working on a painting for school and had to join in on the fun! Monkey see, Monkey do.

After a lot of snow there was finally a day that was warm enough to bundle up and walk the zoo. It's so fun to go when its a little chilly and first thing in the morning because no one is there and all the animals are so much fun.

Sage wanted to read a little story to the lions.

My favorite mornings are lazy mornings with Matt and Sage. We pull Sage into bed with us and just cuddle, sing songs, and laugh! Matt is not a morning person so I'm sure he doesn't love Sage and I getting all giggly as he is trying to "sleep". Haha!

January 2018

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We started our new year with a fresh start. We moved out of the parents basement, and in to our own little apartment. It feel so good to create our little home once again. Sage has adjusted so much better then I expected. She loves her room, and she loves when we have visitors so she can show it off.

Another exciting thing about starting 2018 was Matt started his LAST SEMESTER! It feels so weird to say this is his last semester of school. I am so insanely proud of him and all his hard work. And I am so proud of myself for standing by his side through it all. It was a long road for both of us in very different ways. Lots of ups and downs, but we made it!

While we were living with the parents, Sage always had her "baths" in the shower. Well Sage got to experience a real bath! She loved it!

This winter has felt more like spring. The weather has been crazy warm for a Utah winter. Its been fun to be able to do so many fun things outside.

We started potty training Sage this month! She started taking her pants and diaper off so I made it a rule that if she did that she had to go sit on the potty. She always went pee when that happened. So after a week or so of that I figured we should probably go all in and go for it. She got to pick out her own undies and got so excited about them. For three days we didn't leave the house. She did amazing! She still wears diapers or pull ups at night time and nap time. But other then that she is all about the undies! I'm so proud of her.

December 2017

December was full of family and Sage loved every minute of it!

Cousin Cali came over wearing a sweater that Sage has too. Cali ran up to me and beg me to change Sage into her sweater so that they could match. This two girls are my favorite! I hope they are always the best little buds. Even with a six year difference, they play so well together.

Our aquarium pass was expiring so we of course had to go once more. It's been so fun watching Sage run through this place with so much excitement. This particular time she kept saying
"Dory, where are you?" as she looked in each tank. She even touched a sting ray for the second time.

This is how sage insisted on eating her breakfast one morning. Silly girl!!

Every time we go to the library we have to take a picture in our picture spot.

Every year Matt and I have put on our Christmas sweaters for the Myers Christmas party. I found this sweater at 'Savers' for 2$ so Sage got to join in on the Christmas sweater fun!

This year the Campbell Christmas party was on the 23rd. These cute girls got matching PJ's. There is soon to be 12 Campbell grandkids and these 3 are the only girls. So they get spoiled!

Christmas Eve we spent with Matt's mom and siblings. Sage loved watching her older cousins play Christmas songs on the piano. Once she got a turn to sit up on the bench she was hooked. Hopefully she has more musical talent then I do.

Christmas morning was a dream! Sage slept in tell 8:00, which was great! It was so magical opening the bedroom door and watching her run to see what Santa brought her. She was so excited about her kitchen. I love watching her play with it. She always says she is making soup for dinner.
Soup or Pizza, one of the two.

She was also so excited when she opened Tigger. She already has Pooh and Piglet. The funniest part was after she squealed and hugged Tigger she looked at me and asked where Eeyore was.

After Christmas Sage got to go to her first Nana & Papa night. She had a blast with her Myers cousins. When Matt and I came to pick her up she got mad because she didn't want us there. She wouldn't even let me sit by her on the couch. Now every time we tell her we are going to Nana's house she says "cousins! movie! popcorn!"
